Shaman Camo Distributor Fight for 2nd Amendment Rights
Dennis Zolotor of SafeSound 222 in Kansas City has been a distributor for Shaman Camouflage for some time now. He is also a registered sales rep for firearms, and recently ran into some resistance in an effort to obtain a special permit for his business. Like any responsible and respectable businessman, Dennis had completed all due-diligence and was prepared to face the band when it came time to present his case to a commission. With plenty of evidence to back his cause, Dennis explained his position in a professional and dignified manner... and obtained his permit. Every day, people like Dennis are put through the rigors of proving their case to those who stand against the 2nd Amendment. In a honorable and therefore admirable play, Dennis chose to always take the high road and made us all proud when he won his case. Thanks to Dennis for representing all of us gun owners in a respectable light, and for standing firm for what he... and many of us out there... believe in. Shaman DeadFall Proves Itself in the Heart of Africa
Grey Ghost Enterprises, Inc. President, Derek Pletcher
What follows is written by Mike Roux following a successful trip to the Dark Continent with his friend, Greg Pape. You can see the photos in our media section.
"The field test of Shaman Camo in Africa was a huge success. The typical style of hunting there is spot and stalk. Spot from a vehicle and then stalk by foot. I truly believe that the DeadFall pattern blended-in to the African bush so well that all of my shots came at less-than-average distances. The camo allowed me to get in closer for more humane, one shot kills. Congratulations to Shaman for developing such a universally successful product."

Spring Kick-Off Includes Special Event with Wild Horse Creek Bows
Grey Ghost Enterprises, Inc. President, Derek Pletcher
Every once in a while, a special event occurs that brings hunters and kindred spirits together in one place for a day of fun and fellowship. On March 31st of this year, I was honored to attend such an event with my brother, my father, and one of my best friends... all to shoot our traditional bows made by Wild Horse Creek Bows in Perry, Kansas.
The bowyer, Mr. Mike Dunnaway, held this event (hopefully the first of many more) as a way of saying "thank you" to all of the people who have purchased his handcrafted recurves and longbows. Despite cold, blustery, rainy, and generally soggy conditions, the turnout was exceptional. At least 30 people showed up to swap stories, renew friendships, make new ones, and enjoy some good shooting on a 3D course. This turnout says a lot about the quality of the bows Mike creates for each customer... custom woods, exquisite detail and fantastic performance... but it also says volumes about Mike himself as a person and a friend. We all wanted to be there for him as much as we wanted to join in the shoot. Mike and his lovely wife, Susie, put on a full spread lunch for us... and fed us well... welcomed all of us to their home for this event and made each of us feel welcome and appreciated. The afternoon wrapped up with Mike drawing a name for a new custom bow... and the winner couldn't have been more appropriate. Mr. Ed Ogle of Scranton, KS won the bow, and ironically he is the first person to ever purchase a bow from Wild Horse Creek Bows. It seemed fitting that he win at the first event like this.
Mike and Susie Dunnaway are truly a class-act, and I hope that this bit of news and the photo gallery attached are a worthy remembrance of a great weekend in the woods with fine people and Wild Horse Creek Bows.
